The village of Contes is very well situated being just 15k from Nice and the other Mediterranean costal towns of Menton,Monaco, Cannes, Antibes etc are quickly and easily accessible from the A8, a short drive from the house. We are just 15 minutes from the Promenade des Anglais via les Tunnels de Paillons.

The old village is surrounded by mountains clad in olive groves, Mimosas and mediterranean oaks. The old village is easily visited using the lifts, these are from the bottom village where you find the shops, banks, restaurants etc. In the old village you can visit the 16C church, Renaissance fountain and museum.
